Complaints and feedback

Complaints and feedback give us an opportunity to improve the quality of our work, build the trust and confidence of our stakeholders, identify areas that require improvement and learn from feedback provided.  Our complaints procedure outlines how to make a complaint.

You can provide feedback or lodge a complaint against Assisi Aid Projects by email, phone, mail, or in person. Once received, your feedback or complaint will be dealt with internally for consideration and resolution. Our Complaints Procedure provides more details about how you can make a complaint, and our approach to acknowledging and resolving a complaint.

If you suspect serious misconduct related to the disclosure or witness of fraudulent, corrupt or unethical behaviour by Assisi Aid Projects, or if you feel unable to raise a concern through the above standard feedback channels because of fear of identification or reprisal, you may use the process outlined in our Whistleblower Policy.

Assisi Aid Projects is a signatory to the ACFID Code of Conduct, a voluntary, self-regulatory code that sets out an organisation’s commitment to conducting its activities with integrity and accountability. If your complaint is concerning Assisi Aid Projects not complying with the ACFID Code of Conduct, you can lodge a complaint with the ACFID Code of Conduct Committeedirectly as per the process outlined on the ACFID website.

Assisi Aid Projects is accredited by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), responsible for managing Australia’s development program. To maintain accreditation, Assisi Aid Projects' systems, policies and processes are rigorously reviewed by the Australian Government.
