BPW Nepal

Following the emergence of an exciting short-term opportunity to work together on a project in Jumla in Nepal, Assisi Aid Projects is commencing a new partnership with the Federation of Business and Professional Women Nepal (BPW Nepal).

BPW Nepal was established in 1975 and utilises its extensive knowledge of the local environment to advance women’s entrepreneurship in Nepal.

The vision of BPW Nepal - “to see [that] women from any background are socio-economically empowered” - strongly aligns with that of Assisi Aid Projects.

This new partnership will provide an exciting opportunity for both organisations to expand their operations.

Assisi Aid Projects’ in-country implementing organisations bring their expertise, skills, commitment and a keen understanding of the local environments in which our projects are delivered.  We learn much from them and are committed to capacity development through guidance and support in delivering gender focussed projects, accountable implementation, and best practice financial reporting and budgeting processes.

The women are wearing colourful, traditional Nepalese dress. One of the women is looking directly at the camera, while the other two are speaking and looking away from the camera.

BPW Nepal's expertise and localised knowledge enables women to build their business and entrepreneurship capacity. Image credit: BPW Nepal.
