Tony is a valued and longstanding member of Assisi Aid Projects, and currently Vice President. He is also a member of the Finance and Risk Sub-Committee. Tony has previously served several terms as President. A veterinary surgeon, he currently manages a consultancy business providing advice in a range of fields relating to animal biosecurity and welfare, livestock identification, and trade facilitation. Tony holds a Master's degree in Pharmacy, and holds the status of Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). In 2008, Tony was awarded the Public Service Medal in the Queen's Birthday Honours for services to Australia’s cattle industry through the introduction of the National Livestock Identification System.
