Lucy Nisbet Lucy has a strong passion for gender equality, education and social empowerment. Recently joining Assisi Aid Projects, Lucy hopes to contribute to the improvement of livelihood for those who benefit from the project. Lucy has a strong interest in the relationship between gender, violence, and religion; how they interact, compare and contrast within a socioeconomic context. Lucy is passionate about sustainable progression and outcomes in the not- for-profit sector, which is why she joined Assisi Aid Projects, as the organisation offers a suitable, sustainable solution for those who face disadvantage in India and Cambodia. Lucy holds a Bachelor of Arts, in Islamic Studies and International Relations from the University of Melbourne and is currently studying Masters of International Relations, Political Violence and Counter Terrorism at Monash University.
