Special Announcement Newsletter 2010
In 1974 Sister Stella received a one way ticket to Australia
from the late Archbishop of Melbourne, Cardinal Knox. She studied dairy farming and agriculture in Terang and Lilydale, Victoria and completed a Diploma of Artificial Insemination.
Many Australian families were inspired by her determination
and welcomed her into their homes providing physical and
moral support. Even after more than 30 years the bonds forged remain
incredibly strong and we are delighted to welcome "the Cow Girl Nun" back to Australia.
