The Cycle of Poverty

The people we work with are poor and need assistance because:

They are often illiterate and suffer from preventable diseases.
Moneylenders, employers and others exploit them.
Women are poorly educated and have limited ability to generate an income.
They have no network or support to access services generally available to everyone in the community.
